Remember me in Red..

Hello my dears :) 

Im feeling super happy and you're about to know why! 

Since I moved to Portugal, i didn't go back to Moscow and i haven't seen my friends, and a few days ago I received a message from a really old friend of mine saying that he's in portugal for few weeks with his family! Our families have been friends since my first year in school and they were ones of the first ones who knew we were moving! So in few minutes we scheduled a time and a place! This feeling, when you move and think that everyone forgot about you at once got completely reversed in my head, someone actually wanted to see me and know about me! we planned in walking around Lisbon, specially Parque das Nacoes which i really like but instead we sat in a restaurant, parents talked about their business and we talked about everything! Long story short - we told each other everything happened for the past 3 years we haven'r seen each other, news gossips all at once and this happiness and excitement knowing about how the place and people changed (which also made me shocked some times!) but still it was a really emotional day! 

Since we've planned walking round on a very hot day specially in Lisbon where it's hotter than in Cascais i decided to wear this Red dress from Pull and Bera, one of my first purchases with my own money since i moved here (yes its a very old dress!) which is just as special as the occasion for me! 

Some people when they see this dress say 'This is Masha' without having to look at my face! You know sometimes when people tell you 'Oh that person..!' and you have a vision of them in something dressed (usually :D) so if you ask what the associate with me? Right is this Red dress i wore once on a mufti day to school (basically when we get to leave our uncomfortable uniform home and wear normal clothes), and since that day this dress is my signature, this dress is ME!

That day when we went walking around - the shops in Commercial Centre of Vasco de Gama i got this new boots with open sides which i thought super nice! the color and the style! they are very elegant and are made right in the shape of the foot making it look super thin (see the picture from above!) 

And a new shirt/blouse also from Zara which looks good with the boots and its just the style i always wanted! free casual and good-looking for any occasion! :) Getting ready for the 2 years of IB without uniform :) 

Rebel at heart

Hello there! 

Good thing about having a father that is traveling a lot is the presents he brings back! And they are always unexpected and you can never know what its gonna be, a simple post card, a toy or a pendant which took my breath away!

As soon as i got it, all the ideas of what i can wear it with, to where came in my head! Can't wait to share the looks with you!!

The detail is amazing, such a brilliant work I'm in love! Looking at it, it might seem heavy but its really not! Everyone will notice the dragon on your neck, but you! So light! 

Hope you like it, just as much as i do.. maybe not actually because I'm just IN LOVE with it :)

Inspiration Moments

Hello there,

Maybe last week i was killing my time in Instagram and i saw a photo of Cara Delevingne for the Fall/Winter'14 CHANEL Campaign, so i went to see some more of those and fell completely in love with style, places, ideas and outfits!

Here are some of them:

MY FAVORITE ONE!

Her tattoo seems to fit the photo and it's just brilliant + you clearly see the eyebrow game :)

 The more I'd look at them, the more i noticed some things about Cara which knowing her for so long, seeing her in magazines i never really thought of them and they seemed so normal that when i noticed more about them I took some minutes wondering about them. Maybe you guessed but if you didn't i was talking about her eyebrows! So many girls now-days plug their eyebrows so thin - which i don't its super painful i don't get how you don't start crying after fourth or third. Well, her eyebrow game got pretty serious but it never bothered her instead made her more popular i think, then I went to see other models and their 'flaws' which actually made them 'flawless' in you know what i mean! And here you have:

What if her parents actually took care of this Teeth would she still become a model? what would be her 'identification' ? or What if she didn't become a model and this flaw wouldn't be something she would be proud of then what?

I mean, my mom spent 7 eyes trying to fix my bite, my from teeth instead of being vertical were literally horizontal!

And now i see Georgia and she's modeling for Chanel, Miu Miu and Versace showing off her pretty big gap.. which i don't really think is making her pretty.. but oh well, the moral of this story is that its never late to make your Flaw - your Greatest Strength..

Same i can say about #2!

Lindsey Wixson with her Teeth and Mouth and also Nose which contributes to her pretty unique face!

The first moment I looked, when doing my research, it looked pretty weird, but unlike with Cara, i got used and didn't think the face was that bad! Her fatty, small lips and pretty thin nose made her go on the Cover page of the Brazilian Vogue in August of the 2013! 

'Eyes are the mirror of the soul'.. Well our next models, gotta have some pretty wide and big souls!

and Nina Burns from the 20th Season Of America's Next Top Model which i sincerely LOVE! I've been watching it since i was 7 every time I'd come here in Summer because I couldn't find it on our Russian TV, guessing because it would be up on TV super late when I'd be sleeping. So Since then I became more and more addicted so now i follow up every episode that comes up! And the next one is coming right before my Birthday on the 22nd of August!Well Nina's got some pretty BIG eyes! Those two look like aliens for me, and I'm pretty sure if i went to some local Model Agency with such eyes i would't get in Anywhere.. But well done to girls i guess..

This question of getting into Agencies with such flaws made me think, how did Cara become famous! 

Well in one of Cara's Intervies she said "I've been best-friends with Genevieve Garner, daughter of Sarah Doukas [CEO of Storm Model Mangagement] since I was five. Sarah saw me when she came to our school and Gen introduced us. I had never thought about modelling before, and it just happened."

So tip 1. 

Have some contacts with friends and their parents in Model Agencies! (Anyone out there?:) 

Pretty much every other model was discovered when they went to a model agency! When i was living in Moscow, my dad put me in one of those and at the age of 5 i was doing some cute catwalks for famous brands, and had my own portfolio and did a lot of publicity-adverts! Some of Anonymous people and my friends had asked me to tell something about my childhood so here it is:

 

 This was when i had like 5 and i needed to make a portfolio which is basically a book with your photos which   will help people who want to hire you to see your abilities in front of the camera and get an idea how you are etc without having to see you personally at the early stages!

My First Catwalk / Runway for Children Fashionweek in Moscow where I won my title of "The most pretty little model at the Children Fashion Week in Moscow" 2007 or something like that.. 

 
Later on, my cut tie pie face was on the packaging of a juice! (Yes, it's me.. gotta trust me!)

  When i was around 10 I got chosen to be the face of a Moscow Clothing Brand:) This is one of the photos I thought more appropriate to put online since i don't wanna coming a social suicide :)

And the last and the greatest thing i did was to participate at the Runway// Concert at Pierre Cardin Runway when i was 11 right before i left:)

So yeah, since I moved i didn't have time and luck to try out modeling career in Portugal, but I think I'm gonna take that under control since i really like it! :)

Travel Diary: Vilamoura

Hello there!

I'm super happy and excited to share with you my first trip to Algarve, the south of Portugal with my 2 best friends for the Birthday of one of them! It was my first time in Vilamoura and in algarve in total and i was super thrilled to spend 2 days just me and my friends, at the pool, beach, amazing hotel and parties at night! 

People call me a 'reporter' because anywhere i go, i have my camera on my neck and this time i took my new GoPro as well and was super excited taking photos first with Iphone for Insta, then with normal camera and the for different perspective with GoPro! Girls had to wait 5 min each time we'd get our food or go somewhere but it was worth it. Plus the last time we've been all three of us together was 2 years ago and looking at those photos we took we laughed so hard, commenting our poses, outfits, faces and places and so many pictures from this trip will make us laugh even harder when we see each other in 2 or 3 years from now! 

The party had started right the moment we sat in the car on the 22nd when going there, with loud music, just girls in the car, happy and pumped for the adventurous time in Vilamoura! When we finally got there, the difference in temperature with Cascais was very VERY noticeable, sitting in the car with AC on we didn't realize it was some 10 degrees difference with the place we left from! First Refreshing meal with Cesar Salad was just what we needed!  

So tired from the road, we spent the first day/afternoon by the pool, taking videos with GoPro underwater, enjoying the sun and talking, talking and talking! The best quality time we could have after not seeing each other for so long and getting more and more excited about the night with every hour that would pass and we didn't even notice how fast it happened, but in one blink of an eye it was 7 and we had to hurry up to get ready for THE NIGHT!  That feeling when taking a shower, choosing outfit and planning the night, the things we will do, listening to music is so pumping but only girls will understand me! That feeling inside with hope and excitement! 

Birthday dinner at Casavostra with Caipiroskas for the good start of the night which got me pretty tipsy :D followed by walk by "Marina" of Vilamoura with endless number of people, lights, music from bars, restaurants and little shops all surrounding the beautiful yachts lighted up with street lights! Next stop: Bar with Watermelon Cocktail! 

 And then THE night started with amazing FucnYou2 in Bliss! Well no comments then.. i guess because i don't remember them if you know what i mean;) 

DAY 2:

Waking up was never so difficult, loud and painful than the morning of 23rd. Calm pool time was all we needed!But later we had dinner at a very cool restaurant on the little beach! We, well i don't know about girls, but i definitely felt super anti-social that morning so i was super glad the beach was small but super nice with nobody we knew:) 

MUST-SHARE photos from amazing place we found in our hotel on the first day! Wearing OYSHO Bikini! The light of that place, the color of my tanned skin and light lilac flowers on the bikini all combined made me fall in love with the pictures we took!

 Taking photos with girls was the greatest fun specially when a really big lady was laying behind looking dead which we couldn't stop making fun off! 

 On the second day, no matter if we were on hangover or not, i made girls take some pictures which came out pretty good as well and i don't look so dead as i was feeling ahah 

The beach we spent the afternoon at, had so many rocks and cliffs which holes in them creating little pools which we climbed into, (super scared with my 2 cameras, i was freaking out!!) but it was worth it! We took millions in our secret places :) 

The bikini top is from Bershka! And the bottoms are from Zara! :)
